About GTTA
GTTA is established as a service oriented organization due to its articles and mission. GTTA is involved in promoting community services, cultural and social activities, student assistance, and preservation and promotion of Telugu language and heritage in the BAY AREA, and across the globe.
GTTA is more open and transparent in its structure and function. It was inaugurated on July 21'st 2017 with 10 members Board of Directors and Executive committee .
The core mission of GTTA is to serve the growing needs of thousands of people of Telugu origin living in BAY AREA. Membership is open to people of Telugu origin living across the globe. An estimated three hundred thousand Telugu people are living in the US and Canada, and a majority are professionals such as doctors, biomedical scientists, businessmen, engineers, information technologists, entrepreneurs, pharmacists, professors, teachers, real estate developers and highly skilled workers. GTTA strives to serve them with cultural and social activities here in the BAY AREA ,US .
GTTA’s mission of serving the Telugu Indian-American community is achieved by organizing regional activities, meetings, and biannual conventions to celebrate Telugu culture and traditions. GTTA has identified several key activities such as exchange programs for students, scientists, artists and professionals, and advancing the Telugu heritage, sponsoring events that enrich and enlighten society, and extending support back home for educational, business and overall development of Telugu communities across the globe.
As part of its mission, GTTA intends to promote the Telugu language to children of Telugu origin in the United States – so that they can read and write in Telugu as second language.
GTTA’s mission is to identify and address social, cultural and educational needs of North American Telugu Community in particular and Telugu people in general. GTTA aims to perpetuate, integrate, and assimilate the cultural heritage of the Telugu-speaking people into the mainstream of BAYAREA. Telugu and Indian ethnic organizations around the world look up to GTTA as a pioneer and role model for its various innovations in promoting culture and serving the community. It was announced on July 21, 2017 with its registered office in Sacramento ,California.
GTTA will conducts singing and dancing competitions for Telugu youngsters across BAYAREA and showcases their talents at the grand biannual convention good standards for such ethnic events, gather thousands of Telugus at one place strengthening strong social bonds and creating an environment for the preservation and growth of Telugu culture.
